Shiphasbolted is a home maintenance reminder and scheduling application designed for New Zealand property owners. We provide tools to help you plan, track, and record home maintenance tasks.
The information and reminders in Shiphasbolted are for general guidance only. They do not constitute professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional (builder, electrician, plumber, etc.) before undertaking structural, electrical, plumbing, or other specialist work.

Shiphasbolted offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions (Standard and Pro). Pricing is displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and is inclusive of GST where applicable.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods, except where required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.
You own your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the content you create in the app. You can export your data at any time from the Settings screen.
If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
We aim to keep Shiphasbolted available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the app offline for maintenance, upgrades, or in response to unforeseen issues. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, [Business Name] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including (but not limited to) property damage, missed maintenance, or financial loss.
Our total liability to you in connection with these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot be excluded.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
You may close your account at any time from the Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
